Our innerspring mattresses are manufactured based on the needs of our customer. We begin with a Leggett & Platt spring unit made from the highest quality steel and reinforced rim wire that prevents early breakdown of the mattress. We then add what's known as a flexalator (wire grid) over the springs keeping the other components from sinking into the spring, preventing compression and friction that can also lead to early breakdown. The padding used varies from polyurethane foam, cotton, and assorted other foams to achieve the feel and support needed. The cover is a quilted damask tick that will add a soft feel and life to the mattress. Our ticks range from 1/2" to 3" depending on the desired finish.

Memory Foam has come a long
way since it's inception years ago. Foam mattresses are made using either polyurethane or a combination including Visco (temperature sensitive foam). Visco memory foam is an excellent
option for those suffering with back and joint problems. The contour
of the foam mattress molds to your form giving you relief from certain pressure
points, allowing a relaxed, comfortable rest. From pads to full size mattresses, foam has become a new standard for different sleep needs. Our foam mattresses are covered either with a cotton poly blend or the previously mentioned damask adding life and comfort to the mattress. These can also be cut down to size for a perfect fit in a custom
sized bed. |

Ticks used can often add to the desired feel of the mattress. A tack and jump quilt is used specifically for a plush softer feel comparable to the "pillowtop" mattresses seen today.
