| How do I measure for a custom mattress? |

One of the most important parts
of ordering your new custom mattress is to get an exact measurement for what
you'll need. To begin, take your present mattress and box spring off
the bed. Using your tape measure, measure the distance from one inside rail to the opposite rail. Repeat for the Headboard/Footboard. These measurements will now be known as your "Flush Measurements". On an antique bed or poster bed, note any obstructions that come into the mattress area. If a post comes into play, measure the length and width of the post and note on the specific corner. Some antique beds also have a more rounded corner on the foot or foot and head. You'll also want to note this and tell me the area covered. After arriving at your flush measurement, we generally take off an inch to an inch and a half to allow for bed linens. This is left up to you as to how you would like this to finish. Rest assured, we will discuss these measurements at length to guaranty the perfect fit for your set.

Hill Mattress Company offers a 15 year, non-prorated warranty on all of our mattresses. The warranty covers all components in material and craftsmanship.

After reading our website and finalizing your dimensions, you may call or write us via email to place your custom bedding order. Most people prefer to talk with us before finalizing the order to review dimensions and makes. We'll be happy to respond either way.

| After I place my order, how long does it take to receive my mattress? |

Most mattresses are received 15 business days after placing the order. Some larger and odd sizes may take longer but we try to stay within this period. If there is a problem or delay, we will try our best to inform you from the outset. Our goal is for you to be happy before, during, and after your mattress has been ordered.

| How is the mattress generally shipped, and what can I expect to pay in shipping costs? |

Depending on the size, most shipments are sent common carrier or by freight. Freight costs vary by destination and size. When ordering or getting a quote, give us the address for final destination and we will give you a firm quote of what you can expect to pay.
